Key Personnel

David R. Ridenour - President

Dave Ridenour joined AICI in July 2004. He served a career in the U.S. Army, retiring at the rank of Colonel. During his career, he served as the Commander and District Engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers in Pittsburgh, PA where he was responsible for design, award, and construction of a concrete float-in dam on the US inland waterway system—the first of its kind. Dave earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, a Masters Degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College, an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy, and was selected as an Olmsted Scholar for study in Economics and Political Science at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and the Army Engineer Association (AEA).

Francois Antypas - Senior Vice President, Operations Support

Frank Antypas has more than 25 years of international construction management and engineering construction experience with AICI. Fluent in four languages (English, French, Arabic and Greek), he has constructed projects in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Frank’s academic credentials include a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, a certificate in Project Management from Urwick Management Centre in the United Kingdom, and a certificate in International Business Management from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Hazem Sadek - Senior Vice President, Operations

Hazem Sadek has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. As Vice President of Operations, he has successfully completed all projects undertaken by AICI in the Middle East since 1993.  He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering and has further enhanced his academic credentials by fulfilling the requirements of the Advanced Graduate Program in Construction Management for Professional Engineers from the American University in Cairo. Hazem is a member of the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

James J. Edinger - Manager, Federal Programs

Jim Edinger joined AICI in August 2004, after serving as Senior Vice President for WEC Engineers, LLC. Previously, he served a career of civil service with the US Army Corps of Engineers. His service included management of the construction of the concrete float-in dam on the US inland waterway system -- the first of its kind, and he served in numerous overseas locations, including Egypt, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. Jim earned Masters Degrees in Civil Engineering and Public Works from the University of Pittsburgh and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
